OUR WHY
Hairdustry, a podcast and events company met Presley Poe, an epic educator and commander of their craft in 2018 at Premier Orlando. An instant connection of shared focus was formed on creating a space for equitable, inclusive, and elevating education in our beautiful industry.
Fast forward 7 years and 5 shows later, Hairdustry and Presley have done just that. The Presley Poe + Friends experience is designed and orchestrated for hair stylists, by hair stylists. Our mission is e heart lead and community focused advanced education at each and every show.

As you enter the 60,000 square foot building, you will head up the stairs to the 2nd floor entering the Goddess Room where all 5 senses will light up and kick off a wonderful night of whimsical creativity and connection. Each year Presley Poe + Friends holds a contest open to the public. We ask that you post the work you are the most proud of, not necessarily your best work. As an industry, sometimes we focus on external perception when there is so much that we do as hairdressers. Our team does love and appreciate a beautiful photo, however sometimes it’s the story or the struggle behind that not so beautiful photo that speaks volumes about who you are as an artist and service provider. For us, it’s about your heart, and Presley personally reads every entry and chooses who they think will benefit the most from a weekend shadowing them and taking in the beauty of this community.
